Who's there.....
The noise was just too much for Allison. Her closet had creaking noises coming from it that sounded like her brother when he wanted to scare her. She slid out of bed and opened the door only to find nothing but her mound of dirty clothes on the floor, shoes scattered from the shelves and a few hanging clothes. She found it was nothing so angrily she slammed the door shut and huddled under her covers. Everything finally settled down again so she pulled the covers down and tried to sleep.
Not even a minute had passed when the closet door swung open and something ran out. Allison was frightened out of her mind when she saw this creature...no monster...what exactly was it? As it stood there, not sure what to do next, Allison observed it in the moonlight. Its body was light blue, furry and had colorful spots all over its round body. It had all the features we have but in a different way; the hair was lengthy around its circular head, but neatly combed and curled up at the ends. It had two eyes that were so massive they took up half of its face. I thought it was going to say something but instead I noticed its mouth was plump with deep cracks formed all over. The monsters nose was just a button with two holes; the eyebrows were thin and arched up which made Allison feel a little safer as they appeared friendly. She wanted to know if this thing was a girl or boy and quickly found that out when it sneezed and excused itself in a high pitched voice.
As we both stared at each other, neither of us made a move. I continued to look at the monster and observed it had scrawny arms and at the end were giant hands with three fingers, not very attractive for a girl. The monster kept eyeing me as well, probably wondering what I was going to do next. I began looking down at the rest of the creature and its round body, like a dough boy figure, had thin legs and enormous feet protruding from it; again there were only three toes. How did she ever find shoes to fit?
My eyes moved right and left still wondering what the she monster was going to do next. But all I could see in the moonlight now were her huge eyes copying my every move.
